CONSULTANCY

basis and engineers capable of providing technical expertise needed to analyze
and evaluate all kinds of geological and geotechnical engineering problems as may be required for all type of infrastructure projects, slope stability, and protection including geological, geo-environmental and hydrolgeological
study.
GEOLOGICAL AND GEOTECHNICAL
INVESTIGATION
The company is capable to undertake
subsurface exploration works both onshore and offshore, like soil investigation , water pressure test, grouting and soil resistivity. Drilling employed as
stratigraphic survey usually consist of boring undertaken in sufficient numbers and depth in order to identify the soil and
rock strata and stratigraphic correlation. Split spoon sampling is used in Standard Penetration Test (SPT) in soil investigation including some laboratory test. In rocks, core barrel
is used to obtain core samples for examination, geologic logging and testing.
SURVEYING
With highly trained geodetic engineers aided with state of the art surveying
instruments, the company satisfies its client for the requirements in parcellary, topographic, mining claim boundary survey,
profile leveling and relocation survey.
MINERAL EXPLORATION
Mineral exploration techniques usually employ geologic mapping, test pitting,
trenching, geological and geochemical survey to determine mineralized zones on metalic and non-metallic mineral deposit. Complementing
the above works, the company conduct diamond drilling, reverse circulation drilling (RCD) to verify anomalous body at depth,
production drilling and blasting.
GROUND IMPROVEMENT
Should the need arises to improve ground condition, the company is capable
of conducting grouting where cement or chemical grout is injected into the ground either as blanket, curtain or consolidation
grouting.
SLOPE PROTECTION
In construction areas with adjacent structures, slope protection and soil
stabilization is a must to protect existing buildings, roads and the excavation itself from possible collapse and landslide
which will delay on going excavation activities. Work includes design and construct for rock anchoring, rock bolting and shotcreting.
Work involves horizontal and inclined drilling for tendons or steel grouting insertion and cement grouting during foundation
excavation activities. Slope protection design is usually based on the underlying ground condition as evaluated by the structural
and geotechnical engineers.
